About Kate
With more than 10 years’ experience practising exclusively in family law, I advise and represent clients across all aspects of family law, including complex parenting and property matters, international relocation, financial agreements, Administrative Review Tribunal matters, and Intervention Order proceedings.
I take a strategic, practical and commercial approach to every matter. My focus is on understanding what is important to each client and identifying the most effective path forward from the outset. I provide clear, considered advice so that my clients can make informed decisions, with a view to resolving matters efficiently and, where possible, minimising unnecessary conflict, stress and legal costs.
I take the time to understand my clients, their families and the circumstances that have brought them to seek legal advice. I recognise that no two families are the same and that there is rarely a “one size fits all” approach to family law. My advice is therefore tailored to the individual circumstances, priorities and long-term objectives of each client.
Family law can be an inherently challenging and uncertain process. I see my role as providing both strategic guidance and steady support throughout that process, helping clients navigate difficult decisions with confidence and clarity. I place significant importance on open and responsive communication and ensuring that my clients understand not only the legal issues involved, but also how the decisions they make may affect the outcome they are seeking to achieve.
My goal is to help clients navigate the family law process with confidence and emerge from it in the strongest possible position for the next chapter of their lives.
When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my nieces and nephew, my bulldogs, Winnie & Winston, and I love consuming all things true crime.
