Alyce Kliese

Alyce Kliese is the Managing Partner at Urban Legal in Sydney, leading a team that delivers innovative solutions in planning, environment, and local government law. Her leadership is centred on community impact, guiding clients through significant growth challenges. Alyce's expertise extends to Land and Environment Court litigation and local government and administrative law, including matters in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal. She provides specialist advice related to planning, environmental, and local government law, along with construction and infrastructure law. Her skills in contract drafting, negotiations, and strategic advisory on rezoning and land use are complemented by her experience in general dispute resolution and litigation across various courts, including the Federal, Supreme, District, and Local Courts. With a career spanning several key roles, Alyce has made significant contributions to Urban Legal since October 2024. Her previous roles include Partner and Senior Associate at Shaw Reynolds Lawyers, where she honed her strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Alyce's early career as a Solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons set a strong foundation for her legal expertise.
