Michael Garvin

Michael was admitted as a solicitor in 1997 and brings extensive experience in commercial litigation, insolvency, corporate law, and commercial law. He has been a Principal Director of Uther Webster & Evans since 2017. Michael provides advice and representation to a broad range of clients, including creditors, individuals, companies and their directors, liquidators, administrators, and trustees in bankruptcy. His practice encompasses proceedings primarily in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the Federal Court of Australia. His work covers matters such as professional negligence claims, breaches of equitable duties, property disputes, issues arising under the Corporations Act, shareholder and business partner disputes, as well as business reconstruction and turnaround initiatives. In addition to litigation, Michael assists clients with transactional work, including business sales, licences, commercial contracts, employment agreements, and loan and security agreements, ensuring practical solutions tailored to client needs.
