Initially establishing his career as a licensed real estate agent, David eventually made significant contributions to his community by serving as a councillor, deputy mayor, and mayor from 1997 to 2000. This period, marked by the influential Kennet administration, catalysed his passion for property and planning. In 2001, David founded his own conveyancing practice, positioning himself at the forefront of the industry. He was one of the inaugural professionals to gain licensure under the Conveyancers Act 2006.
