
Richard Watson is the Principal at Watson & Watson, Solicitors, and brings an extensive foundation in both commercial and legal education, holding a Bachelor of Commerce with merit in Accounting, Financial and Systems and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales. Richard's career commenced in a city practice where his focus was on commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on banking and finance, alongside building and construction matters. Richard went on to establish a partnership, assuming responsibility for litigatious matters across corporate insolvency, general commercial issues, and building and construction. In August 1992, he became the proprietor of Watson & Watson, Solicitors. Under his leadership, the firm has concentrated on commercial litigation, property and family law, strata disputes, and building and construction matters. Demonstrating his expertise, Richard became an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation in 1995, following the inaugural examinable course offered by the Law Society of New South Wales. His steadfast commitment across all legal disciplines is to deliver cost-effective, efficient, and positive resolutions for every client.
