Andrew Wilson is a seasoned consultant lawyer with over forty years of legal experience, having practised in both Australia and New Zealand since 1980. His extensive career encompasses public, regulatory, and private practice, providing him with a substantial depth of insight into the commercial and litigation landscapes.
Andrew's career includes senior legal roles with the Directorate of Public Prosecutions Victoria and the National Companies & Securities Commission, now known as the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. His contributions in enforcement, policy, and legislative drafting have reinforced his prominence in the field. In private practice, Andrew has held positions with esteemed firms such as Baker McKenzie in Melbourne as a Senior Associate in the corporate and securities team and at Connell Rishworth Gerrard in Whangārei, New Zealand. He also ran his own commercial practice in Ivanhoe for 12 years.
More recently, Andrew has been part of respected commercial practices such as Aitken Partners and Lord Commercial Lawyers. He has now re-established his own boutique practice, Wilson & Co Commercial and Personal Lawyers, while providing consultancy services with Whelan Lawyers.
An Accredited Commercial Law Specialist, Andrew has extensive experience in general commercial law, disputes, and forensic investigations.
