Simon White

Simon White is a Senior Solicitor with a remarkable legal career that spans over four decades. As one of the founding partners in 1981, Simon has played an integral role in shaping the firm into a well-regarded legal institution. After earning his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide in 1978, Simon commenced his career as an Articled Clerk, leading to his admission as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of South Australia. His expertise further developed during his tenure as an Associate to a Supreme Court Judge in 1979, offering him valuable insights into the judicial process. Throughout his career, Simon has been deeply involved in all aspects of the firm's practice, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding and commitment to the legal profession. For over forty years, he adeptly managed the firm, nurturing a strong legal family tradition centred on excellence and client service. In January 2025, Simon, alongside Guy White, transitioned leadership of White Berman Ryder to Deidre Ryder, allowing Simon to focus on his role as a Senior Solicitor and mentor to the current Director. His extensive knowledge in Family Law, Estates, and Inheritance Claims positions him as a valuable resource for both colleagues and clients alike. Outside of his distinguished legal practice, Simon enjoys spending his leisure time travelling, gardening, and exploring the rich offerings of local wineries, reflecting his appreciation for culture and nature.
