Heather Bird, the founder and registered conveyancer of Whyalla Conveyancers, first moved to Whyalla in 1967. With nearly 40 years of experience, Heather has established herself as a prominent figure in the conveyancing industry. She previously owned and managed Properte Conveyances in Adelaide, one of the largest conveyancing firms in the South, and has been at the helm of Whyalla Conveyancers since 1988. The firm celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, marking Heather's long-standing contribution to its success. In addition to her role as a conveyancer, Heather is a certified practising accountant with diplomas in taxation, corporations law, and local government law. Her diverse qualifications include a general builder's licence under which she constructed over 400 homes in South Australia. Heather is an active liaison committee member with the AAIC, where she also holds the distinguished position of Fellow member. She contributes to the education of new conveyancers, enhancing their skills and knowledge. Heather's expertise extends to property development, land divisions, community titles, and complex property transfers. She has collaborated with numerous councils on various projects, including STEDS schemes, easements, and land acquisitions. Her hands-on approach is a hallmark of Whyalla Conveyancers, where client engagement and satisfaction are paramount. Heather encourages clients to engage directly with her team, ensuring the process of buying or selling property is as smooth and stress-free as possible.
