Justine Finlay

Justine Finlay is the Managing Director at Wightons, where she has dedicated her entire professional career since graduating from Melbourne University in 1992. Having grown up in Rupanyup, Victoria, Justine values the balance of regional and urban life, which is reflected in her commitment to the Geelong community and her work at the firm's Ocean Grove office. Justine’s practice encompasses Wills and Estates, Commercial Law, and Property Law. She brings extensive experience in estate planning, business succession, commercial leasing, and property transactions. Additionally, Justine is a qualified Notary Public, appointed by the Supreme Court in 2012, equipped to prepare and authenticate legal documents for international use following completion of a graduate diploma in notarial practice. Beyond her legal work, Justine is actively engaged in community initiatives. She has served as Chairperson of the Bellarine Peninsula Community Branch Ltd and contributed to the Ocean Grove Football Netball Club. Currently, she chairs St Quentin Consulting Pty Ltd, having been a director since 2015. Justine holds accreditation from the Law Institute of Victoria in both Wills and Estates and Commercial Law, underlining her comprehensive expertise in these areas. She is a member of professional bodies including the Law Institute of Victoria, the Geelong Law Association, the Geelong Business Club, and the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP). Residing in Ocean Grove with her family, Justine enjoys balancing her professional responsibilities with quality time at the beach.
