Emma Rowles

Emma Rowles serves as the Legal Practitioner Director at Winter Legal, drawing upon a rich and diverse background in law and commerce. She commenced her journey in the legal field as a Paralegal in 2007, while pursuing a dual degree in Laws and Commerce (Accounting), gaining foundational experience in estate planning, conveyancing, and tax law. Admitted as a solicitor in 2012, Emma further refined her expertise at the NSW Supreme Court, where she worked as a Legal Researcher to several distinguished justices. Her career then expanded into roles at prominent firms including KPMG and Teece Hodgson & Ward, where she honed her skills in tax law, estate planning, and disputes. Emma's commitment to her field is underscored by her completion of a Master of Laws, specialising in Wills and Estates, in 2022. She is an active member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and holds the designation of Registered Trusts & Estates Practitioner. Her career trajectory at Winter Legal saw her progress from Solicitor to Principal Solicitor, and now to her current directorial position. Emma's extensive experience also includes a decade-long tenure as Principal Tax Agent at her practice, Emma Rowles & Co. Her academic credentials are reinforced by a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University.
