Tomoko Yamamoto is the founder and Principal Solicitor at Yamamoto Attorneys. Born and educated in Japan, Tomoko pursued her law studies at the University of New South Wales, where she completed her LLB and Bachelor of Liberal Arts in 1998. She was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales the same year. Recognised for her expertise in the joint Japanese-Australian business landscape, Tomoko has represented numerous public and private Japanese companies. Her primary area of expertise lies in Family Law, where she provides strategic advice not only to individual clients but also at the Japanese government level. Additionally, Tomoko is a NAATI accredited English-Japanese translator, a qualification she earned in 1992. She frequently contributes articles on relevant legal matters to community newspapers, an endeavour she has maintained since her admission to practice.
