Robert Young

Rob Young, Managing Principal of Young & Associates, brings a wealth of experience to the legal profession. With a distinguished 31-year tenure in the New South Wales Police Force, Rob successfully prosecuted criminal and traffic matters, laying a robust foundation for his legal career. His transition to a legal role within the force as a Solicitor provided him with invaluable insights before he expanded his expertise in the private sector with prominent national law firms. Throughout his career, Rob has adeptly handled cases across Local, District, and Supreme Court jurisdictions, showcasing his versatility and deep understanding of the law. In addition to his legal acumen, Rob is actively involved in the Nepean community, dedicating his time as a football referee. His commitment to the community and passion for the law are reflected in his comprehensive educational achievements. Holding a Bachelor of Law and a Master of Management, he further advanced his legal knowledge with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and two Master of Laws degrees, focusing on Business Law and Applied Law with a major in Family and Property Law. As a Graduate Fellow of the College of Law and with Practice Licence 40241, Rob continues to uphold the highest standards of legal practice, registered with the law society of NSW.
