Mark Orchard

Mark Orchard brings almost three decades of experience in family law, focusing on relationship agreements and resolving complex property and financial disputes arising from relationship breakdowns. Known for offering practical and strategic advice, Mark prioritises early resolution for his clients, helping them avoid the delays and costs of litigation. His expertise extends beyond potential court proceedings, assisting clients in amicably settling matters outside the courtroom. A respected figure in his community, Mark was instrumental in founding the Toowoomba Community Legal Service and has served as its Chairperson. His community service was recognised with the Queensland Law Society's Award for Outstanding Voluntary Community Service in the Law. Mark continues his volunteer work at the Roma Community Legal Service. With qualifications from the University of Queensland in both law and arts, and admission to the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia, he is a seasoned practitioner. His practice encompasses complex property settlements, asset disputes, relationship agreements, and advisory support in family law proceedings, including divorce, maintenance, and surrogacy agreements.
