Amy Harper

Amy Harper, a Partner at Kells, is a distinguished commercial lawyer with a focus in business law. With her accreditation as a NSW Law Society Specialist in Business Law, Amy offers extensive expertise in contracts, business transactions, structuring, and resolving business disputes. Her practice encompasses the sales and purchases of businesses and companies, advising on and preparing commercial and construction contracts, and providing guidance on structuring arrangements for business owners. Amy's acumen extends to advising lenders on finance structures and preparing associated documentation, as well as advising on lease and licence preparations. Amy collaborates chiefly with private enterprises and not-for-profit organisations, serving clients whose annual turnovers range from $2,000 to $150 million. Her clientele spans various industries such as aged care, health, construction, engineering, professional services, technology, and retail. Beyond her legal practice, Amy is actively involved in community and corporate affairs. She plays a pivotal role as a Councillor and the Immediate Past President of the Business Illawarra Regional Advisory Council, and has been a Business NSW Councillor for eight years. Her leadership extends to being a Director at Illawarra Credit Union and Peoplecare Health Insurance, with past board memberships in the performing arts, tourism, and aged care sectors.
