Is LawConnect free to use?
Yes! LawConnect is completely free to use. Our AI-generated answers are free. If you engage with a solicitor, they may charge fees for their services.
How does LawConnect work?
LawConnect AI is built specifically for the legal domain. It understands the legal significance of everyday language, identifying key details and translating them into concepts that matter in law. Through intelligent, conversational guidance, more like an interview than a form, it draws out the information needed to surface accurate, tailored insights. When appropriate, it can also recommend the most suitable solicitor based on the issue and the user’s readiness to engage. It’s a legal-first AI that bridges the gap between uncertainty and informed action.

LawConnect can answer questions about any field of law, business and corporate law, family law, criminal law, employment law, real estate law, immigration, insurance, estates and probate, personal injury, etc.
Connecting with solicitors
How do I get in touch with a solicitor through LawConnect?
If you indicate that you'd like a quote from a solicitor, your case will be made available to our network of trusted solicitors specializing in the relevant field of law you are looking for assistance with. They will introduce themselves to you via the LawConnect platform. We will email you as soon as an introduction is made. You can also see all messages via the account area on the LawConnect website.
Where are the solicitors based?
Our solicitor network is currently based in Australia and the United Kingdom. We are actively working to expand our network to additional countries in the coming months.
How are solicitors selected to view my case?
We select the best solicitor for your case based on criteria such as your location, your specific issue, your legal needs and the capabilities of the solicitor.
Can I choose which solicitor I speak to?
Yes! You are not obliged to engage with any solicitor who contacts you. You may choose your preferred representative from anyone who introduces themselves to you.
What happens after I contact a solicitor?
Once engaged with a solicitor, the process may vary depending on the processes of the law firm. You may be invited to complete an induction form to provide more details to the solicitor, or you may require a telephone call or in-person meeting with the solicitor handling your case.
How much does it cost?
LawConnect is available at no cost, and our AI‑generated responses are free. If you decide to engage a solicitor through the platform, standard professional fees may apply for their services.

I’m having trouble signing in. Can you help?
Select ‘Account’ from the LawConnect website menu.
If you have an account, select ‘Sign in’. Once on the sign-in page, please either continue with Google or enter the email address you signed up with. Once submitted, you will be asked to enter a code. Check the email you signed up to LawConnect with for your verification code. Copy the code and enter it into the ‘Code’ input on the sign-in page.
If you do not have an account, select ‘Create free account’. You will be asked to enter your first name, last name, and email address. Once entered, select ‘Create your account’. Alternatively, you can continue with your Google account.

How do I update my contact details?
From the ‘Account’ page, scroll the page below the ‘All cases’ area. Select the ‘Settings’ button to take you to the settings page. Once on the settings page, you can edit your details. If details are managed by Google, fields may not be changeable.
Can I delete my account?
Yes! All your private information will be deleted when you delete an account.
From the ‘Account’ page, scroll the page below the ‘All cases’ area. Select the ‘Settings’ button to take you to the settings page. Once on the settings page, scroll to the bottom of the page to the ‘Delete account’ area. Select the ‘Delete’ button. You will be asked to confirm the delete action. To proceed, select the ‘Delete account’ button.

Is my information secure on LawConnect?
Yes! We place a strong emphasis on privacy, and we adhere to stringent security standards to ensure that your sensitive information remains private. Your data is encrypted and securely transmitted, maintaining your privacy. It’s stored in a highly secure database that adheres to leading security protocols.
When is my contact information shared with a solicitor?
Your contact details are only passed on if you request a quote or choose to connect with a solicitor about your matter. Until you take one of those actions, your information remains private.
Can I delete my data or request a copy of my information?
Yes! Deleting an account will also delete all your private information held by LawConnect. If a case has been shared with a solicitor, we will endeavour to ensure that your information is removed from third-party systems.
